  • 1 (3.5 ounce) package cook and serve butterscotch pudding mix
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Start from using a medium bowl, in which you will cream together the dry butterscotch pudding mix, butter, and brown sugar until it gets smooth. Then, stir in the egg, then combine the flour, baking soda, ginger, and cinnamon. After that, stir it into the pudding mixture. Cover it, and chill dough until firm. (about an hour).

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). First grease baking sheets, then on a floured board roll dough out to about ⅛ inch thickness, and cut into different shapes, using cookie cutter. The most popular one is a man shape, but you can choose your favorite one. Then place cookies 2 inches apart on the baking sheets you prepared.

Bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until they get golden color at the edges. Cool on wire racks. 

Chocolate Oatmeal Cookie Recipe - Healthy Christmas Cookie

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ cup margarine
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cups rolled oats

The first step is to preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, which is 175 degrees C, then grease cookie sheets and leave aside. Mix together the flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

Then in a large bowl cream together brown and white sugar, and margarine, after beat in the egg and vanilla. Stir in all dry ingredients using a wooden spoon. Add the oats and chocolate chips, drop by tablespoonfuls onto cookies sheets, and again leave 2 inches between cookies. 

You should bake cookies around 10 minutes in the preheated oven, till cookies get lightly browned. After allowing cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, remove them to a wire rack to cool completely. 

Soft Easy Christmas Cookie Recipe - Tasty Christmas Dessert

  • 3 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

After making the shapes bake the cookies around 8 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove cookies from the cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.
